Biography
Olesya Pisotska is a Russian, Ukrainian Artist raised & based in Richmond Hill, Ontario where she produces both digital & traditional media of character designs and portraits. Olesya's first training in the arts took place in the years 2016 to 2017 at the Richmond Hill Art School. She took weekend classes where she studied painting, drawing & inking. There she studied and referenced artists like The Group of Seven and Vincent Van Gogh. She also takes inspiration from media like anime, manga, & modern day cartoons. Olesya also likes to study art techniques on Youtube from artists like SamDoesArts & Kooleen. She is currently enrolled in the Visual & Digital Arts program at Humber Polytechnic. Her art has been displayed in the Small Arms Inspection Building for The Lost Museum 2024 exhibition. Olesya is currently applying her illustration skills for selling online commissions & producing her very own Graphic Novel or Webtoon.
